10.45 - 11.35 10 Digital Ladies: Confidently Breaking Barriers

Confidence is without doubt the biggest barrier for women in business. Whether it's putting themselves forward for opportunities, reaching leadership positions or 'selling' products, businesses or ideas. In this session we'll explore some personal stories about what's holding us back, and we'll workshop together practical ways to overcome those challenges.

 

This session will be facilitated by Lucia Adams, co-founder of 10 Digital Ladies, a networking group for over 2,000 women who work in technology. 10 Digital Ladies believes that success is personal - for some it's about getting to the board, for others it might be about achieving work-life balance or having a portfolio career. 10 Digital Ladies has the conversations that matter, tackling issues that are often not talked about in the workplace - whether that's building confidence, leading with authenticity or discovering and following your purpose. Lucia has herself navigated lots of 'crises of confidence' as she developed her career and wants to create a space where people who come to this session are inspired and energised and come away with practical tips!

 

11.40 - 13.00 She Almighty: How to craft a compelling personal brand to live by

In a crowded and competitive landscape, a strong personal brand can enable you to stand out and shine but more importantly to excel with passion and purpose both in business and in life. Fundamentally your personal brand is about who you are, your values, what's important to you and what you stand for but it's also about how you communicate and make that known to the world. A clear personal brand and more crucially being confident in who you are will enable you to connect with more like-minded people, attract relevant and exciting opportunities and position yourself as a leader in your field. So join us for an intimate and interactive workshop, be prepared to get coached and to go away with an action plan for how you are going to shape and grow your personal brand in 2019 and beyond.
